The Role
We are seeking a Personal Advisor to support our improvement journey. Due to service expansion, we have an additional post available! Working within the Leaving Care Team, you will assist 16–25-year-olds in accessing education, training, employment, activities, suitable accommodation, and developing skills for independent living.
You should hold a Level 3 (or above) qualification in a relevant childcare or child development field, with experience working with young people in supporting roles. A good understanding of issues such as mental health, substance misuse, housing legislation, support, and safeguarding is essential.
Confidence in managing complex situations, high emotional resilience, quick decision-making in crises, and excellent communication skills are required. Flexibility across a range of audiences is also important.
