Are you a passionate and energetic SEN Sports Coach looking to make a real difference in children’s lives through sport and physical activity? Do you have experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs and a love for creating inclusive, engaging PE and movement sessions? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
We are looking for a dedicated Primary SEN Sports Coach to join a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Islington. The role involves supporting children across the school who have a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASD), speech and language delay, global developmental delay, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. You will help pupils build confidence, develop coordination, and foster teamwork through tailored sports, games, and physical development activities.

Primary SEN Sports Coach Requirements:
* Experience coaching or supporting children in a primary school or sports setting (KS1 and/or KS2)
* Experience working with children with a range of SEN, including ASD, speech and language delay, global developmental delay, or SEMH needs
* Ability to adapt sports and physical activities to suit different abilities and learning styles
* Patient, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach to engaging children in active learning
* Strong communication and teamwork skills – able to collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and outside specialists
* Passionate about promoting inclusion, wellbeing, and a love of physical activity
