Your Role: Materials & Logistics Team Leader
As our Materials & Logistics Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating our Goods Inward and Shipping Functions. Your mission? To ensure that all incoming materials and outgoing finished goods are processed accurately, safely, and on time. You will be the key point of contact for our customers, ensuring a seamless service delivery experience.
What You Will Bring:
* Expertise in International Shipping: Knowledge of shipping protocols, Incoterms, commodity codes, and tariff classifications.
* Documentation Management: Proven ability to handle complex import/export documentation and customs entries.
* Supervisory Experience: Experience in managing the end-to-end "Goods In" process with a focus on accuracy and quality control.
* Team Leadership: Skills in prioritizing workloads, managing team performance, and fostering a positive culture.
* Safety Commitment: Dedication to maintaining a safe working environment through adherence to HSE policies and standards.
* Performance Monitoring: Ability to develop and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and participate in audits.
Your Responsibilities:
* Goods In: Oversee the receipt, inspection, and booking-in of all incoming materials and components.
* Shipping: Manage transport logistics, ensuring compliance with customs and documentation requirements.
* Stock Control: Maintain accurate stock records, lead cycle counts, and support stock audits.
* General Leadership: Create a motivating team environment and ensure adherence to safety policies.
