Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are currently working with a Primary School in the BS4 area of Bristol who are currently seeking a PPA Teacher to work 2 day a week.
This school is a wonderful 2 form entry school who have a dedicated team who strive to provide an excellent education for their children. They work hard to ensure the attainment and progress of their children is the best it can be.
The Role
This is a great opportunity for a Qualified Teacher who is looking for part-time work and isn’t looking to take on the responsibility of planning.
The school is looking specifically for someone to work 2 day a week to cover the KS2 Classes. You will be provided with pre-planned lessons, you may need to use your initiative to adapt lessons to meet the children’s understanding.
You will be expected to:
* Communicate clearly with the Class Teachers.
* Have great knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
* Deliver pre-planned lessons to the high expectations of the schools.
* Be approachable, calm and positive.
* Hold great Behaviour Management strategies.
* Mark lessons using the schools marking policy and feedback to the teacher.
