Job description
Our client, a large Aerospace and Defence supplier is looking for a Full Stack Software Development Engineer to join them on a contract basis at their site in Stevenage.
1. Due to the nature of the role, applicants must hold the sole British national and be willing to obtain full SC Clearance ahead of starting.
2. 6 month initial contract, possible extensions.
3. £67 p/h Umbrella, inside IR35.
4. 4-5 days per week onsite in Stevenage due to the nature of the role..
Responsibilities:
You will be working within a small and will be responsible for: -
5. The continued development of the Web UI components
6. Maintenance and testing of .net microservices
7. Creating the appropriate documentation
8. Collaborating with and assisting other members of the team
Skillset/experience required:

9. Programming Languages:-
10. JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, C#
11. Framework & Libraries:-
12. Svelte, Angular, Vue.js, React, .NET 7/8
13. Tools and Technologies
14. Visual Studio, Jira, GitLab, Node.js, npm CI, Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory
15. You have experience of working on complex, distributed systems with Containerisation including a knowledge of Kubernetes / Docker
16. You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms
17. You have experience working in an agile development environment.
18. You have the ability to identify and solve complex problems.
19. You have the ability to design innovative and user-friendly interfaces.
20. You are familiar with modern software testing and deployment practices such as TDD & CI/CD
21. You can set up CI / CD Pipelines
22. You are comfortable with all aspects of the software development lifecycle (planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment, maintenance)
23. You have excellent communication skills and are comfortable collaborating across teams and with senior stakeholders
24. You have mentored & assisted junior members of the team.
