We are currently seeking someone with passion and drive to join our Supported Living team as a Service Coordinator (Senior Support Worker), supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism living in the Harrogate area.
Salary starting from £30,368 p/a (based on 40 hours) - plus additional enhancements.
The successful candidate will have a firm commitment to providing an exceptional service to the people we support in a way which promotes the principles of self-directed support, inclusion, choice, independence and enables them to achieve their goals and aspirations in life.
The post holder will have a positive attitude, good interpersonal and organisational skills, be capable of providing support and supervision to the team, and ensure that the highest quality of support is maintained throughout the service.
The position will include working some evenings and weekends and may require long days of up to 14 hours. Successful candidates will have experience working within complex care needs and autism. A knowledge of positive behavioural support (PBS) is advantageous but not vital.
Due to the complex needs of the individuals being supported, resilience, initiative and the ability to work both within a team and independently are essential. Candidates must have outstanding communication skills.
As this role will include the provision of OnCall support for our support workers and clients, a full valid UK driving licence and business insurance are required

Brief outline of duties includes:
* To create and maintain effective person-centred support plans and risk assessments.
* To provide advice and support to the staff team, and act as a positive role model.
* To monitor services to ensure that the standards required by IntegraCare and statutory authorities are being maintained.
* To liaise with families and health and social care professionals involved in the lives of the people we support.
The post will include evening and weekend work, and participation in IntegraCare's out of hours OnCall rota.

The successful applicant will have at least 2 years' recent experience of working in a relevant social care setting. Previous supervisory experience is desirable, but not essential as training and support will be provided.
