About the Role:
Our client in North London is seeking a proactive and driven Junior Project Manager to support the delivery of home improvement programmes across London. These include upgrades such as insulation, solar panels, kitchens, bathrooms, windows, and more, aimed at improving energy efficiency and resident comfort.
Working within the Homes Directorate, you'll be involved in all stages of project delivery, supporting senior project managers, liaising with stakeholders, managing documentation, and tracking project progress. This role offers hands-on experience and development opportunities, ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in project management within the housing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of large-scale refurbishment projects across the property portfolio.
* Engage with residents and internal teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
* Act as the first point of contact for project queries, managing the team mailbox and escalating issues as needed.
* Maintain and update project documentation, schedules, spreadsheets, and systems.
* Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and support progress tracking and reporting.
* Facilitate invoicing and monitor financial processes related to projects.
* Assist with project administration and contribute to team activities.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Experience in a project support, team assistant, or project coordination role.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality work under pressure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Comfort working with electronic data and updating project systems.
Desirable:
* Experience within housing, construction, or property sectors.
* Understanding of project lifecycles and contract administration.
