This classroom support role requires a strong teaching assistant who is proactive and willing to adapt quickly, working 3 days per week, as a general class TA, whilst also leading small group phonic sessions. Having sufficient curriculum knowledge is essential for this role to enable the best support for the class, and to work alongside the classroom teacher to identify areas of development. This primary school is a one-form entry, in the Telford area and has a strong passion for building a community in which children are the heart. Working hours are 08:30 – 15:30. Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification Previous experience with phonics, particularly Read Write Inc.
