This role is field-based, covering Glasgow and the surrounding areas, providing you with a dynamic work environment.
Your Role
As an Apprentice Service Technician, your primary goal will be to learn and master the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, ultimately qualifying as a skilled HVAC Service Technician. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Regularly attending Glasgow Kelvin College to study for your Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Heat Pumps qualification.
* Working on a variety of HVAC equipment, from small water and air side products to large commercial systems.
* Shadowing qualified Technicians during customer site visits.
* Gaining knowledge about refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
* Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges, both in-person and remotely.
* Learning about control panels, pumps, and digital control systems.

What We’re Looking For
* Grade C/4 or above in GCSE English, Maths, Science, and ICT or Engineering.
* A full UK driving licence.
* A keen learner with a bright, inquisitive mind and a passion for involvement.
* Good written English skills.
* An interest in M&E, Engineering, and the HVAC industry.
* Strong problem-solving abilities.
* Basic computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office.
* Confidence and articulate communication skills.
