The Opportunity
As Nuby continues to invest in its category capability, we are now looking to appoint a Category Manager to play a central role in the next phase of growth. This is not a reporting role, it is a role where insight drives action, influencing both customer decisions and the future direction of the product range. You will take ownership of how category insight is translated into commercial outcomes, sitting at the intersection of data, customer engagement, and innovation.
You will:
* Build credible, insight led relationships with key UK retailers, positioning yourself as a trusted category partner
* Lead the creation of biannual category toolkits, forming the backbone of NPD sell in and customer engagement
* Translate EPOS and panel data into clear, compelling narratives that influence customer decision making
* Support and influence the development of new and existing product ranges
* Own and manage the Nuby go to market plan across launches and existing lines
* Work cross functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to deliver aligned outcomes
Key Responsibilities
* Category Leadership – Own category insight and translate it into commercial growth
* Insight & Analysis – Turn data into clear actions using sources such as Nielsen.
* NPD & Range Development – Influence product pipelines and lead two internal launch days per year
* Go To Market Ownership – Drive execution across new and existing products from day one
* Customer Influence – Shape decisions at key range review windows
* Cross Functional Delivery – Align internal teams to deliver category success
* Brand Tracker – Design and manage an annual tracker to monitor parent and category trends
* Performance Management – Continuously track and optimise performance
Candidate Requirements
We are seeking a commercially driven, insight led Category professional with experience in FMCG or consumer goods.
You will bring:
* Experience within Category Management, Category Strategy, or Insight roles
* Strong EPOS and panel data capability, with the ability to turn insight into action
* Experience working with UK retail customers
* Strong understanding of product, price, promotion, and range strategy
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive, energetic, and commercially focused mindset
