An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tenancy Sustainment Recovery Co-ordinator. This is a fixed term contract for twelve months to cover current postholder's Maternity leave. You will focus on engaging with people may have a history of rough sleeping or are at risk of rough sleeping and substance misuse as a prevention of homelessness. You will work with partner agencies and housing providers to offer individuals a flexible approach to accessing drug and alcohol treatment services in Hull. Where: Hull Full Time Ho urs: 37.5 per week Full Time Salary : £27,861.26 - £32,002.35* Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract *Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours. About the role: Delivering wrap around intensive, trauma informed support to people identified as having a drug or alcohol issue as well as other support needs within their own tenancies in the community. Maintaining accurate up to date records on the chosen case management system of progress against individual support plans; safety plans and outcomes information, including the outcomes star model. Work closely with the drug and alcohol teams within the service to ensure that substance misusers and problem drinkers are able to access treatment. Advise service users regarding their substance misuse, using recognised theoretical models (e.g., Motivational Interviewing), supporting them to identify and explore concerns before deciding on a possible course of action. Work proactively to ensure that service users have access to ongoing healthcare. Liaise with partner agencies to facilitate access to support including Adult Social Care; Criminal Justice services; Health services; employment and training agencies. About you: To understand the complex interdependencies of homelessness, mental health and substance abuse and offending behaviour A creative approach to problem solving; getting and keeping people engaged demonstrating empathy High level of relationship skills: Empathy; caring; acceptance; mutual affirmation; an encouragement of responsible risk taking; supportive and constructive challenge and positive expectation for the future. Experience of data collection, administration and recording procedures with the ability to maintain accurate case notes and organise own case load to support the national evaluation Experiencing of using Microsoft applications Demonstrable coaching skills in promoting independence Ability to work flexibly and when needed outside normal working hours Ability to quickly build rapport; being persistent, determined, and resilient Ability and commitment to working with vulnerable customer groups and people with complex needs – at a pace and way in which they choose to work The ability to work effectively with partner agencies and develop contacts and networks across a wide range of local services Professional curiosity with the ability and willingness to learn and apply learning in support delivery What we will give to you: 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays.
