About Us
Oldbury Academy is a large secondary school, serving ca 1400 11-16 year olds and is part of the Stour Vale Academy Trust. Ofsted judged us to be ‘GOOD’ in all categories. Pupils receive a good education and school leaders are committed to further improvements.
Role
We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our Academy to support the achievement of our students. You will be working across both key stages (3 and 4) with specific pupils or classes identified by the SEND team and/or external agencies. You will have an integral role in supporting pupils to make progress from their starting points.
Details
* Hours: Part Time (28 hours per week)
* Salary: Grade 3 - SCP 3 to SCP 4 (£24,796 to £25,185) Pro Rata
* Actual Salary: £16,198 to £16,452 per annum
* Contract Type: Permanent – Term Time plus One Week
* Start Date: As soon as possible
