Eventus Legal Recruitment is seeking a Family Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a highly regarded and established law firm based in Sevenoaks, Kent. This is an exciting opportunity for a Family Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2 plus years PQE who is looking to progress their career within a supportive environment, offering strong long term career prospects and exposure to high quality privately funded family law work.
The Family Solicitor or Legal Executive in Sevenoaks, Kent will be trusted with a varied caseload from the outset, acting for privately funded clients across the full range of family law matters. The role offers a salary of £50,000 to £65,000 depending on experience, hybrid working, annual bonus, private healthcare, matched employer pension contributions up to 5%, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and Christmas shutdown, and paid parking.
Role Responsibilities
* Handling a broad range of privately funded family law matters
* Advising clients on divorce, separation, financial remedy, and children matters
* Advising on cohabitation agreements, pre-nuptial agreements, and post nuptial agreements
* Working with high net worth individuals, business owners, and clients with complex financial arrangements
* Providing clear, practical, and sensitive advice to clients at each stage of their matter
* Drafting correspondence, agreements, court documents, and financial disclosure documentation
* Managing matters from initial instruction through to conclusion
* Working collaboratively with colleagues across private client, property, corporate, and commercial teams where required
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the Family team
Person Specification
* Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 2 years PQE in privately funded family law
* Strong technical knowledge across divorce, financial remedy, children matters, and relationship breakdown
* Experience working with high net worth clients or complex financial matters would be advantageous
* A client focused and empathetic approach
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* The ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
* Confidence working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
* A proactive approach to client care, business development, and professional growth
* Enthusiasm for contributing to the continued success of the Family team
