Maintenance Manager
Cannock
Days (Mon - Fri)

Our client are a market leading Tier 1 Automotive manufacturer, they are seeking a maintenance manager to join their team. The role will be responsible for the maintenance of site machinery as well as managing a team of maintenance engineers around their daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities – Maintenance Manager
* Take direction from Site Services manager
* Direct and develop maintenance technicians
* Support other group leaders / department managers’ needs
* Address concerns raised by work team members and provide feedback
* Escalate serious concerns on machines and equipment immediately to operations manager
* Respect company systems and procedures
* Respect customer quality standards
* TPM system defined and operating to include corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance
* FMEA to identify all critical parts
* Tool maintenance and improvement request system in place
* Maintenance workshop and stores 5S system in place
* Reporting format designed and data recording in place
* Bi-annual PDR with team members
* Safe systems of work defined
* Report daily performance information into operations review meeting
* Establish library of drawings and manuals for all machines and auxiliary equipment
* PDCA action plans reviewed weekly
Qualifications & Experience – Maintenance Manager
* Technical qualification – maintenance
* Electrical and/or Mechanical experience
* Knowledge of maintenance management systems
* Team leadership experience
* Strong organisational skills and a systems approach
* Knowledge of injection and paint process
* Experience of working with service suppliers.
