The job holder will be responsible for providing a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the Lung Cancer Nursing Team.
Responsibilities include secretarial duties such as audio transcription, word processing of clinical letters, and handling correspondence. The post holder may act as a focal point for communication, disseminating information, messages, and enquiries for the Nursing Team, liaising with multi-disciplinary team members, other health professionals, staff within the Trust, and GPs.
Medical secretarial experience is desirable but not essential. The candidate should possess high standards of communication and interpersonal skills and be capable of working with staff at all levels.
With support and guidance, the post holder will act as a point of contact for clinicians, liaising with team members and external staff as needed.
