Senior Service Designer

In this role, you’ll use discovery and user insight to create service offerings that enable the effective testing and assurance of new assets and technologies across a large, distributed estate. Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. You must be based in the UK with the ability to travel to client sites as needed.
Your Future Duties and Responsibilities
* Lead and contribute to discovery and service design activities.
* Plan and conduct user research to generate actionable insights.
* Design end-to-end service journeys, blueprints, and propositions.
* Align complex stakeholder and technology requirements.
* Communicate design rationale clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Take ownership of service design deliverables, collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure services are user‑centred, viable, and ready for implementation.
* Challenge assumptions, contribute ideas, and grow your capability within a supportive design community.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
* Proven experience in a Service Designer role within complex environments.
* Strong user research and insight synthesis skills.
* Experience delivering end-to-end service design.
* Ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes.
* Confidence working with technical and non-technical teams.
