Health & Social Care Asessor £25,200 - £26,780 Location: Regional travel required Contract: Full-time, Permanent Reporting to: Performance Manager Are you passionate about supporting others to achieve their potential in Health & Social Care? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assessor to join our team and make a real difference in developing the next generation of care professionals. As an Assessor, you’ll deliver high-quality training and assessment to learners in the workplace, helping them to achieve qualifications and progress in their careers. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring positive learner outcomes, maintaining high standards, and upholding the company’s commitment to quality and continuous improvement. What you’ll be doing: * Delivering engaging training and assessment to learners in Health & Social Care. * Visiting learners in their workplaces across the region to support and assess progress. * Creating and reviewing Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) to map out learning routes. * Supporting learners to achieve Key Skills/Essential Skills Wales requirements. * Monitoring learner progress, maintaining accurate records, and meeting awarding body standards. * Facilitating tests and assessments in line with regulations. * Building strong relationships with employers, identifying training opportunities, and providing additional learner support where needed. * Contributing to team planning, course development, and performance targets. * Ensuring compliance with company policies, safeguarding, health and safety, and quality standards. What we’re looking for: Essential * Experience in delivering Health & Social Care qualifications (Level 2 and 3). * Occupational experience within Health & Social Care. * Experience of Work Based Learning and Award Body practices. * Assessor qualification (CAVA/TAQA or equivalent) or willingness to work towards it. * Knowledge of Safeguarding and Prevent. * Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Desirable * Apprenticeship delivery experience in Health & Social Care routes. * Knowledge of Essential Skills Wales (Communication and Application of Number). * IT literate with knowledge of publicly funded training schemes. * Fluent in Welsh.
