Join HC-One as an Activities Co-ordinator
At HC-One, kindness is at the heart of everything we do. We are dedicated to providing compassionate care across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our Residents are individuals with their own stories, and by joining us, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their lives.
As an Activities Co-ordinator, your role involves planning and executing engaging activities that delight our Residents. You will also assist the Home Manager in organising fundraising events. Whether you're encouraging Residents to socialise, developing new activity ideas based on their hobbies, or involving the care team, your work will be guided by kindness and compassion.
We seek someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably with a background in developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, excellent planning and organisational skills, and ability to communicate considerately are essential. Strong IT skills and effective time management are also important.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All staff will receive safeguarding training relevant to their roles and additional training as needed. You should be comfortable seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalation if necessary.
We offer comprehensive training and a range of benefits to support your well-being and career development, including:
