Job Description
Accounts Receivable Clerk responsibilities:
* Generate and issue accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.
* Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments, ensuring accounts are up to date.
* Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
* Assist in resolving client billing inquiries and disputes professionally.
* Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status for management review.
* Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team on month-end closing activities.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all transactions.
* Support process improvements within the accounts receivable function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Receivable Clerk should have:
* A strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and principles.
* Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Clear communication skills for client and internal interactions.
* A proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies.
* Experience working in the business services industry is advantageous.
