Key Responsibilities: Provide SHEQ support and guidance across all site activities, with a primary focus on gas infrastructure and AGI operations. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with relevant legislation. Monitor, review, and report on SHEQ performance, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with relevant stakeholders. Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformances; ensure root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions are implemented. Assist in the development and review of method statements, risk assessments, and safe systems of work. Support site teams with toolbox talks, inductions, and ongoing SHEQ training. Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and subcontractors as required Requirements: Previous experience in a SHEQ role, ideally within the gas sector. Candidates with broader utilities experience will also be considered. NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent). Strong working knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation. Experience working on infrastructure or construction sites, preferably involving high-risk operations such as pressure systems or AGIs. Excellent communication, reporting, and influencing skills.
