Job Description

We are looking for graduates for our Architecture team, who have a flexible approach and an appetite to learn in a leading Design and Professional Advisory services consultancy. We want you to enjoy working in a collaborative environment where you can apply your skills working for a diverse range of clients and projects.

Services and Locations

* Part II Architectural Assistant – Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow & London

Our Architecture team is at the heart of delivering innovative, sustainable, and high‑quality design solutions across the UK. We work on large‑scale, high‑profile projects nationwide that shape spaces to inspire and meet the needs of communities and clients.

As a Part II Architectural Assistant, you’ll join our London, Birmingham or Glasgow studio and become part of a collaborative team of architects and designers where creativity, technical excellence, and client engagement are at the heart of what we do. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience on complex projects while learning from industry‑leading professionals who will support your development and growth.

Day‑to‑Day Activities

* Supporting senior architects in developing and implementing design proposals focused on progressing agreed design intent.
* Producing and coordinating design and technical information using Revit, with training and guidance provided as part of your development.
* Assisting in the preparation of clear, well‑structured drawings and documentation to support planning, coordination, and delivery stages.
* Preparing presentation material and visual outputs to communicate design intent clearly to clients and stakeholders.
* Supporting teams in meeting statutory and regulatory requirements, developing a working understanding of compliance and good practice across project stages.
* Assisting with consultant coordination and information management under supervision, contributing to the overall quality and consistency of project outputs.
* Attending client and consultant meetings, primarily in a support role, to gain exposure to professional practice and project delivery.
* Contributing to bid submissions and proposals, helping to present the practice’s capabilities clearly and professionally.

Graduate Development Programme

Our two‑year Graduate Development programme is designed to support personal and professional development through an engaging learning experience. The programme includes core business and professional skills training, career development workshops and resources, mentoring for professional registration and a breadth of on‑the‑job experience. Many employees have advanced within the company after starting as graduates.

Qualifications

You will have completed an ARB‑prescribed or RIBA‑validated Part II qualification (typically an MArch or Diploma in Architecture) with a strong academic record, normally equivalent to a 2:1 or above.

* You’ll be looking to start work in September 2026.
* You will have a working knowledge of Revit, Adobe Packages and AutoCAD (training available).
* You’ll have an understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements.
* You’ll be able to work collaboratively within a design team and take ownership of tasks after briefing.
* You’ll be proficient in scheduling and maintaining focus to ensure timely delivery of objectives.
* You’ll have skills to communicate technical detail graphically and effectively.
* You’ll have an enthusiasm for creativity and a drive to solve problems.
* You’ll want to inspire us, sharing new ideas you have.
