Job Description
If you enjoy providing great customer service, working in a team, and caring about animals, we have just the opportunity for you at our Northampton Vets for Pets Hospital to start as soon as possible.
Typical Day
* Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible for their pets – acting as a link between clients and the clinical team.
* Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets, and the practice team is critical to your success.
* Your great client service during a client's visit will ensure their absolute satisfaction and that they leave knowing they have received exceptional service and look forward to their next visit.
* Greet each client, offer support, guidance, and expertise, manage payments, and make future bookings confidently.
* Coordinate the smooth running of day‑to‑day routines using our online booking system; computer literacy is a must.
* Previous veterinary experience desirable but not essential.
This is a full‑time role, an average of 40 hours per week and includes 1:4 weekends.
About You
* You are the friendly and welcoming face for clients and their pets when they arrive at the practice.
* You can keep yourself fully up‑to‑speed with the practice services and any additional services available.
* You are calm, attentive, and always focus on clients’ needs.
* You bring enthusiasm and drive to your role. Your passion for service is matched with your love of pets.
* You can handle everything that is thrown at you, from comforting a client with bad news about their pet to sharing the joy of a new puppy’s first visit to the vet.
* Your personality is infectious, and together with your colleagues you create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the practice.
