Responsible for: Meeting the requirements of the Company’s Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental systems, which is mandatory, and ensuring that the company’s policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Responsible to: Warehouse Manager/Team Leader
Key Responsibilities:
* Understand, develop, and promote the Company’s business objectives and participate with enthusiasm and commitment to achieve and exceed them.
* Conduct regular status reviews with Line Management and relevant Company personnel.
* Agree on appropriate performance measures (Key Performance Indicators) with Line Management and keep them updated and visible.
* Ensure understanding of work requirements and duties, and receive the correct supervised training according to the Company’s training standards.
* Perform key tasks such as confirming picked items match notes, packing items securely, arranging certification, and ensuring segregation of similar items from different manufacturers.
* Load goods for dispatch within deadlines, check for damaged labels, and request replacements.
* Cover for envoys as required, subject to licenses held.
* Unloading delivered goods, verifying received items against purchase orders, and recording transactions in the system.
* Repack bulk products as needed, fill boxing machine hoppers, and move goods to storage locations.
* Resolve picking discrepancies, inform management of stock outages, and ensure documentation accompanies deliveries.
