Job Introduction
Building Maintenance Engineers help maintain our automated Regional Distribution Centre in Amesbury, Wiltshire, a purpose built one million sq. ft. site which supports our plans to grow from 580 to 1,000 stores.
As a Building Maintenance Engineer you areresponsible for the continuous running ofsite facilities;maintaining equipment to a high standard, in turn reducing production downtime.
For this recruitment campaign, we are looking for an experienced engineer with an electrical bias [or mechanical bias].
Job Overview
* Ensure adherence to health and safety and security
* Work at height
* Maintain automated doors and dock levers to reduce downtime
* Maintain stock moving equipment
* Keep maintenance software up to date
* Organise maintenance between production requirements
* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with good practice, relevant legislation and Company standards
Minimum Criteria To Apply
* Both electrical and mechanical skills
* Experience and knowledge of building services and facilities engineering
* Qualified in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and able to read electrical and mechanical drawing
* Understand hydraulics and pneumatics
* A confident communicator with excellent organisational and problem solving skills and a real 'can do' attitude
* Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship desirable
