We are currently seeking applications for a dedicated Trainer and Assessor to join the Team at Foundations Care.

The role requires the delivery of training to an inspiring group of youth workers and case workers across all regions in Qld, in this community services-based organisation.

The Trainer and Assessor will foster the learning and growth of the people that deliver on the daily care and supports needed for the children and young people in our care.

There may be elements of training required with our group of Foster Carers as well.

We are looking for a high energy and passionate person who can deliver on the requirements below, and who can help to take this area of the organisation to the next level.


What you will do:

* Deliver the required training for new and existing employees as set by the organisation, including utilising internal training platforms.
* Travel to offices and regions as required; strong organisational and time management skills essential.
* When not travelling, be based from any of our Qld offices in Central Qld, Southeast or Southwest offices.
* Participate in audit‑ready processes around the mandated training for key roles in the Out of Home Care (residential) and Foster Care programs.
* Manage departmental reporting around training registers.
* Deliver face‑to‑face and online interactive training and assessment.
* Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Contribute to lesson planning and continuous improvement.
* Ensure safety and quality standards met in all sessions.


About you:

* Experienced in training and assessment.
* Hold relevant certificates/qualifications.
* Hold a Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) trainer accreditation, or be willing to obtain.
* Flexible with start/finish times to assist program training needs and be willing to travel.
