Overview
A respected and well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its Boston office. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload, deliver high-quality legal services, and work in a supportive and professional environment.
The Role
You will handle a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, working efficiently and maintaining the highest standards of client care. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters
* Generate new business and convert quotations into instructions
* Prepare and conduct necessary property searches
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other relevant parties
* Produce standard contract documentation
* Identify opportunities for cross-selling other legal services
* Deal with all enquiries, exchanges, completions, and post-completion matters including SDLT submissions and Companies House filings
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal quality and risk procedures
* Keep up to date with changes in conveyancing law and best practice
* Meet agreed fee income targets and objectives
Person Specification
Essential
* Experienced Conveyancer with a proven track record of handling residential property transactions
* Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process, Money Laundering Regulations, and Solicitors Accounts Rules
* Confident in managing a busy caseload independently
* IT literate with experience in case management systems
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities
* Team player with a proactive and client-focused approach
Desirable
* Legal Executive or Solicitor qualification
* Experience using SOS Connect case management software
