Job Title: Sales and Scientific Advisor
Territory: Manchester (+ Bradford, Huddersfield, Hull, Lancaster, Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield, York). Ideally located in Manchester, Leeds, or within the M62 corridor.
Products:
Biochemicals, lab equipment, research antibodies, diagnostic antibodies, custom antibodies, primary cells, cell culture, personalized medicine tools, ELISA kits, custom synthetic peptides, recombinant proteins, FISH probes, PCR/qPCR reagents, protein expression, protein purification, FPLC chromatography, cell biology assay products.
Role: Build relationships with high-value research and biotech laboratories, key diagnostic areas, and promote awareness of Clinisciences’ products to the research, biotech, and diagnostic markets.
Accountability:
* Manage and grow business in existing and new accounts.
* Satisfy scientific and technical customer expectations.
* Discuss scientific requirements with customers using a consultative approach.
* Report activity and performance to management.
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of the territory, including customers, market potential, competitor activity, and trends.
* Identify new business opportunities within the territory.
* Develop selling skills and scientific knowledge continuously.
* Use approved marketing materials aligned with company strategy.
* Negotiate and manage contracts.
* Participate in tender submissions.
* Develop and deliver presentations and proposals.
* Host and assist at product shows, exhibitions, and conferences.
* Attend additional scientific and sales training as needed.
Job Package:
* Gross annual salary: £30,000 - £50,000 (depending on profile) + bonuses (up to approximately £40,000) based on sales targets.
* 20 days holiday, plus 1 additional day per year of service (up to 25 days).
* Contributory pension scheme.
Person Profile:
* PhD in Biological Sciences (preferred).
* Driving license (strongly preferred).
* Driven, dynamic personality.
* Motivated self-starter with ambition for a sales career.
* Ability to interact positively and build rapport quickly with customers.
