About The Role
Job Purpose With a focus on cost efficiency and effectiveness across a significant cost base, this role is key in ensuring the financial controls and processes are in place; and the relevant information, performance delivery and commentaries are insightful and delivered on time. Key Result Area / Principal Duties & Responsibilities
1. Working closely with many stakeholders across Operations and Finance functions.
2. Monitor and report on financial information for the specified areas to bring insight, challenge management to maximise performance and generate added value. This includes the identification of adverse movements, concerning trends and one-off items affecting the underlying financial performance.
3. Analysing material usage and production variances on a weekly basis and providing report on major discrepancies
4. Opex reporting for the Central and Ops departments – update on a monthly basis and answer monthly queries.
5. Payroll Trackers all Countries – update on a monthly basis and understand major variances.
6. Merchandise P&L – compile each month end.
7. Making sure all items are costed in required warehouses.
8. Preparing Distribution & Storage analysis file on the weekly basis
9. Assisting in the NPD beer costings.
10. Assisting in the Packaging Waste Compliance data gathering
11. Updating multiple trackers on overhead recovery, utilities usage, consumables and chemicals spend, price variances as well as labour
12. Assisting with stock provision tracking along with analysis of destruction costs
13. Report into Head of Operations Finance to ensure consistent and valuable insight is provided on timely basis.
14. Providing Support in calculating and setting up standard COGS for Brewing and Distilling across both UK and International sites.
15. Update cost trackers on weekly and monthly basis.
16. Support in Budgeting & Forecasting

About You
QUALIFICATIONS & SPECIFIC TRAINING
32. Working towards or having interest in studying towards CIMA/ACCA qualifications
EXPERIENCE
33. Experience of finance in an FMCG/Manufacturing industry - desirable
34. Experience of business partnering with operational/non-finance teams
35. Experience gained in an organization or environment with a high degree of complexity and pace
KNOWLEDGE
36. Understanding of Standard Costing – including overhead allocation and recovery - desirable
SKILLS
37. Comfortable with Microsoft Excel
38. Business Partner able to develop relationships across a site and a wide stakeholder base
39. Highly developed communication skills
