Robert Half has partnered with a professional services business to recruit for a Credit Controller based in Leeds.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced credit professional to join a high-performing Credit Control team. You will take ownership of your own client ledger, managing collections and reducing aged debt while delivering a professional client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage your own client ledger, contacting clients by phone and email to secure outstanding payments.
2. Accurately document client interactions and maintain ledger segmentation.
3. Prioritise workload to meet monthly cash collection and aged debt targets.
4. Support the team inbox on a rota basis after initial training.
Requirements:
5. Minimum 2 years' credit control experience in a professional services environment (law firm experience advantageous but not essential).
6. Proven track record in meeting and exceeding cash collection and aged debt reduction targets.
7. Strong stakeholder management skills, confident communicating with clients and internal teams at all levels.
8. Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage workload under pressure.
9. Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and other relevant systems.
