Job Description:
Visual Merchandising Manager working for a global beauty brand.
Start date: Beginning of September. 3-month FTC, likely extended to 6 months.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Head of Visual Merchandising, the VM Manager manages, supports, and delivers the client's global visual merchandising strategy by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, developing fixture and event designs, and ensuring brand messaging consistency across all retailer channels. The goal is to create innovative retail experiences aligned with brand strategy and business objectives across all physical distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and execute visual merchandising and store expression according to brand guidelines, collaborating on POS materials for all distribution points.
* Create CPAs/schedules, assess, and flag risks for VM projects.
* Maintain the VM Master List for all projects, flag risks, and propose solutions.
* Coordinate retailer reset/rebuild updates and promos with the VM master calendar, ensuring timely delivery.
* Develop VM design briefs based on input from Sales, Marketing, and Retail partners.
* Create planograms, optimize shelf productivity, and understand POS manufacturing, materials, and lead times.
* Raise POs, track costs, and maintain the VM budget and tracker.
Role Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years experience in visual merchandising, preferably in beauty or FMCG.
* Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or Visual Merchandising.
* Strong technical knowledge of VM, manufacturing, and supplier collaboration.
* Ability to interpret technical and manufacturing drawings.
* Understanding of project management principles for large, complex projects.
* Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
* Confident in creating and presenting VM proposals to stakeholders, sharing risks and solutions.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and design software including Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, Cinema4D, AutoCAD, Fusion.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
