Overview:
Robert Half are delighted to be working exclusively with a prestigious group to find a new Group Financial Controller. The role will report directly to the Group Finance Director of this acquisitive, forward thinking and innovative organisation - with it's site in the East Midlands.

Role:
As the Group Financial Controller, you will act as the deputy for the Financial Director from a technical perspective and ultimately be the clear successor.
You will be responsible for:
1. The delivery of the monthly financial and management accounts to the ultimate parent company
2. Managing and consolidating the year-end results for the annual reporting cycle,
3. Consolidate the annual budget, year-end statutory reporting, quarterly/weekly forecasting and three-year planning
4. Development of the all technical aspects of finance - acting as the business technical expert
5. The full audit process both internally and with the appointed external auditors
Candidate:
Ideally you will be a proven technical accountant with an understanding of how succeed as the Group Financial Controller. The role will require high levels of stakeholder management and attention to detail in addition to:
6. Strong academic background - ideally 2:1 or above from reputable university
7. Professional qualification and training ideally from Big 4 or top 10 firm
8. Excellent technical knowledge from another complex international group
9. Leadership capability and the communication skills to influence key stakeholders
