Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester required in Rowley Regis, West Midlands
1. Basic salary up to £35,0000
2. Bonus potential
3. Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with Saturdays 8am - 1pm
4. Predominantly carrying out MOT's
Our client, an Automotive Service Centre, is currently recruiting for a Mot Tester / Technician to join their busy centre in Rowley Regis, in the West Midlands
Reporting to the Centre Manager and working as part of a team, your responsibilities shall include:
5. Conduct MOT tests in accordance with regulations and guidelines.
6. Perform basic vehicle servicing tasks such as oil changes and filter replacements.
7. Ensure accurate documentation of test results and service work.
8. Identify and address any issues found during testing or servicing.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
10. Communicate effectively with customers regarding test results and service recommendations.
11. Stay updated on changes in MOT testing regulations and requirements.
For your hard work as a Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester, our client is offering:
12. Up to £35,000 starting annual salary pending experience.
13. Overtime subject to availability and paid at a standard rate.

For this Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester role, you will need to hold the following
18. A valid MOT Tester License
19. Basic understanding of servicing and mechanical repairs
20. Previous experience carrying out MOT tests
21. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines and procedures
22. Excellent communication and customer service skills
23. Ability to work independently as well as in team
24. A team player attitude and willingness to support colleagues
25. A full UK driving license
