Salary: £22 - £27 per hour
We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Stroke Occupational Therapist to join the service at Prince Phillip Hospital.
This role is focused on delivering early intervention and supporting complex discharges from the acute site for highly vulnerable patients following stroke.
You will provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention for adults who have experienced stroke, with a strong emphasis on assessing and managing reduced cognitive and motor function that impacts all aspects of daily living. Many of the patients supported by the team were in employment at the time of their stroke, and you will play a key role in addressing the wide‑ranging functional, psychological, and vocational consequences of stroke on everyday life.
Working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, you will use advanced clinical reasoning to support safe, timely discharge planning and optimise patient outcomes. The role involves managing complex presentations, supporting patients and families through significant life changes, and contributing to service development and clinical leadership within the team.

Essential Qualifications:
We are looking an Occupational Therapist with:
1. HCPC registration.
2. UK-recognised occupational therapy diploma/degree.
3. Minimum one year of relevant NHS experience
