Pay and Hours
Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. It is our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too.
Availability and Scheduling
We will schedule your contracted hours within the advertised availability windows and you will have 3 weeks 0notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility if your available times match closely but not exactly to the advertised times.

Your Responsibilities
* Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride
* Be knowledgeable about products and services in the store
* Work across service, picking, and replenishment areas as required
* Apply training to work safely, effectively, and deliver excellent service
* Make decisions that are right for customers and align store routines accordingly
* Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere
* Understand store performance and contribute to reducing waste and delivering profit
* Handle products with care to maintain quality
* Be yourself, live our values, and follow policies
* Occasionally be required to accept deliveries into the store
