Job Title: Sales Office Manager
Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire (commutable from Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester, Evesham, Malvern, Pershore)
Salary: £39,701.04 per annum
Hours: 40 per week (five days across Monday–Saturday)

We are seeking a Sales Office Manager to lead and motivate a small, dedicated team within our clients Tewkesbury Head Office. This role is focused on customer service and order processing managing inbound orders from the existing customer base (calls and emails only, no cold calling), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and exceptional service delivery.

You’ll manage a team of four Sales Administrators and work closely with colleagues in Haulage, Production, Technical, Sales and senior management to ensure smooth operations for our loyal customer base in the FMCG/food manufacturing sector.

This role will suit individuals who may currently be working as a Sales Support Manager, Customer Service Office Manager, Administration Manager, or Customer Service Manager (FMCG).

What you’ll be doing

Lead, coach, and motivate a team of four Sales Administrators to deliver excellent customer service.
Oversee the full order process: inbound orders, data entry, pricing, invoicing, and delivery coordination.
Work cross-functionally with Haulage, Production, Technical, Sales and Management to align service levels and product availability.
Maintain customer databases and pricing files, ensuring compliance with terms and promotions.
Own customer service KPIs and reporting, driving continuous improvement.
Investigate and resolve queries/complaints with effective root cause analysis.
Provide hands-on cover across the Sales Office when required in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
About you

Experienced Office/Customer Service Manager, ideally from FMCG/food & drink/dairy manufacturing.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teams.
Excellent communicator, confident decision-maker and able to influence at all levels.
Highly organised with strong IT skills, attention to detail, and commercial awareness.
Customer-first approach with proven problem-solving ability and a drive for continuous improvement.
