Due to a recent project win, we are seeking a Fit Out Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a high-profile interior fit-out scheme on a fixed-term basis.
Role Overview
The Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in managing all cost-related aspects of the project from procurement through to final account. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in the commercial fit-out sector and be confident working independently under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of cost control and reporting on a high-value fit-out project
Manage procurement of subcontractors and materials
Review and negotiate subcontractor quotations and packages
Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts
Monitor project progress and maintain accurate cost tracking
Provide commercial support to the site team and project managers
Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions
Liaise with client QS and supply chain to resolve commercial queries
Requirements
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience in the fit-out or interiors sector
Strong understanding of JCT contracts
Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
Immediate availability or short notice preferred
