Ready to power up your career? We’re looking for a driven and hands-on Electrical Design Engineer to join a fast-paced, innovative engineering team delivering cutting-edge control system solutions. If you thrive on solving complex problems, working across disciplines, and seeing your designs come to life, this is the role for you.
You’ll be at the heart of exciting projects, collaborating with mechanical, software, and project teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality electrical systems from concept through to installation.
Electrical Design Engineer’s Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical schematics and control panel layouts using Eplan Pro Panel (or similar).
Specify and source components to meet technical and commercial project requirements.
Work closely with software and mechanical teams to integrate PLC/HMI systems.
Ensure all designs meet relevant industry standards and compliance regulations.
Provide hands-on technical support to internal teams, clients, and service departments.
Skills & Experience Required as an Electrical Design Engineer:
Solid background in electrical design with practical wiring experience.
Experience with electrical CAD software (Eplan advantageous).
HNC/HND (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
Confident interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Proactive, detail-focused, and able to manage a varied workload under pressure.
