Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? This role is with a partner school in Dawlish seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team and help students thrive in a specialist learning environment.

* Start Date: September 2025
* Contract: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
* Hours: 8:45 am – 3:45 pm (Monday to Friday)
* Pay: £90 - £100 per day (based on experience)

About the Role
This role involves working with students aged 3-19 who have Autism, learning disabilities, communication difficulties, and complex needs. You will provide 1:1 and small group support, helping students develop academic, social, and life skills.
Duties include
* Assisting teachers in delivering structured learning activities.
* Supporting students with personalised learning plans.
* Encouraging independence, confidence, and communication.
* Helping with behaviour management and emotional regulation.
* Providing pastoral care and safeguarding support.
What We're Looking For
* Passion for working with SEND students.
* Experience in education, care, or SEND settings (preferred but not essential).
* Strong communication, patience, and resilience.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff.
* A calm and adaptable approach to challenges.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
