Financial Accountant – Part Qualified or Qualified, with knowledge and interest in the Crypto market
Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
£27,000-£30,000 DOE + benefits

Steedman & Co is an established, successful, and growing Accountancy firm, and we are looking for a Financial Accountant with a particular interest in Crypto to join our team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our partners in delivering exceptional service to our clients. From accounts preparation to tax advisory matters, you will be involved in various aspects of financial management, utilising your expertise to ensure accuracy and compliance. In addition, you will use your knowledge of the Crypto market to support clients with a variety of challenges, mainly tax implications.
As our Financial Accountant, you will work closely with clients to provide a high-quality service, handling traditional bookkeeping tasks, interpreting financial data and spreadsheets, compiling accounts and tax returns, providing advice and more.
You will be supported to become qualified through paid study days, exam materials and study support. We are committed to learning and development, and we will invest in your success.

We’re looking for:
• Part-qualified Accountant, ideally with some experience in Practice OR an ambitious Graduate with a related degree
• Passionate about Crypto and staying on top of movements and trends in the marketplace, including being up to date on regulatory issues (essential)
• Knowledge of Crypto platforms such as Koinly
• Knowledge of financial Data Analysis, ideally related to a crypto wallet
• Passionate team player, willing to help others • Confident in using varied methods of communication – email, phone, video calls, etc
• Strong levels of professionalism, comfortable being in front of clients
• Proactive in your approach – able to think creatively about solutions to problems
• Experienced in using Microsoft Excel to an intermediate or advanced level
• Excited to progress your career, commit to your studies and be supported to become qualified • Knowledge and experience of Xero, Freeagent, QuickBooks, BrightSuite
