First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking a Valve Technician for their client who are a with a leading organisation in the Oil and Gas industry supplying their client valves and actuators worldwide.
Full Time - Dayshift.
Salary £38-40k + OT/ Offshore Work
Role:
* Strip, inspect, assess, report and rebuild all valve types and operators.
* Fault finding to assess root cause of receipted valve failures.
* Pressure testing to various specifications and international standards.
* Development through continued training.
* PSV recertification campaigns.
* Working closely with co-workers and management to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
* Completing documentation / QA Cards associated with repair scopes and testing.
* Ensuring compliance to documented procedures and customer specifications.
* Travelling to customer locations to carry out field service work when required.
Qualifications:
* Time served with at least 6 years' experience preferable.
* NC/HNC in relevant domain.
* Knowledge on a variety of valve types.
* BOSIET and MIST certified.
