The Role – Teaching Assistant
In this Teaching Assistant role, you will support students on a 1:1 basis within the classroom and also outside the classroom. As a Teaching Assistant you will provide both 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils to manage their behaviour, engage positively with learning, and develop key social and emotional skills.
As a Teaching Assistant you will work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and wider staff team, you will help implement effective behaviour strategies and create a structured, supportive environment that promotes wellbeing and learning.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will be patient, resilient, and nurturing, with confidence in supporting pupils with behavioural challenges. A consistent and proactive approach will be key in helping each child succeed.
