At our client's organisation, you will play a critical role in protecting the bank by identifying Financial Crime and Sanctions risks. You will be at the forefront of ensuring compliance and customer due diligence, all while collaborating with a vibrant team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Onboarding: analyse FO submissions for new client onboarding and periodic reviews, ensuring compliance with AML/CTF standards.
Due Diligence: Investigate client ownership structures and assess potential risks, including PEP and negative news evaluations.
Collaboration: Work closely with Relationship Managers and the Financial Crime Group, providing guidance and support on KYC requirements.
Escalation: Report any suspicious activities or risks to the relevant second line for further advice and action.
Training & Development: Participate in training new team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge.What We're Looking For:
A good understanding of the regulatory framework surrounding Financial Crime, Sanctions, and AML.
Previous experience in a CDD team within a financial institution is highly desirable.
Externally recognised qualifications in AML and Customer Due Diligence (e.g., ICA Certificates/ACAMS) are a plus!
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - your ability to convey complex information clearly is essential.
