Job Advert
We are looking for a Support Worker to join our service in Easingwold on a permanent, part-time basis (30 hours a week). Shifts are spread across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
We aim to grow our team of dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic support workers to enable the individuals we support to live the lives they choose.
If you enjoy supporting someone with activities, our 1:1 support service might be suitable for you, where you'll support a young man with a different activity each week, such as football, swimming, or enjoying his National Trust tickets. The support worker should match or surpass his energy and passion for fun.
We also have a service supporting women in their homes, assisting with daily activities like cooking, shopping, and supporting their independence. Supporting with personal care, offering verbal prompts, and assisting with daily tasks are part of the role, with training provided.
Flexibility is key, and we understand you have a life outside work. Shifts vary, with start times from 7:00 am or 9:00 am and finish between 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm, often split into two shifts. Some shifts include sleep-ins or waking nights, with an enhanced flat rate of £63.70 for sleep-ins (non-contractual).

* Assisting with personal care, medication prompts, bathing, and bathroom use, depending on the role.
* All roles require an enhanced DBS check and references.

* Ongoing training and development opportunities.
* A supportive, inclusive work environment valuing contributions.
