Business Development Manager role in a large international law firm. Focusing on their M&A and Pensions work. Not bid heavy! London with hybrid working.
This popular international law firm is looking for a Business Development and Marketing Manager to join the firm’s Corporate and Finance group. The role will take ownership of the firm’s Pensions group, as well as working alongside the wider corporate team on M&A projects on an international scale. Unlike many Corporate BD role, this role won’t be bid heavy!
The firm have a great culture and a solid history of developing the team and creating progression opportunities. Many of the Corporate Finance BD team have been their 10+ years.
Key duties include:
* Developing profile raising BD initiatives for Pensions and M&A, including events, thought leadership campaigns, PR etc;
* Supporting with the wider Corporate / Finance team strategy, developing BD plans for specific subareas and Partners;
* Looking at key relationships and how to develop them, supporting on client listening;
* Working with the Bids team on developing collateral for the group, as well as offering coaching around particular client bids;
* Staying up to date with industry news, and spotting opportunities for the team and Partners;
This role would suit a BD professional with an interest and ideally experience of pensions services. Candidates need to come from a legal or equivalent global professional services background. And must be confident managing BD plans and being stakeholder facing.
