Maintenance Engineer
Location: Based in Chessington Site with travel to Various other IP Sites
Salary: £46,000 per annum
Benefits: Company Van + Fuel Card
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30
On-Call: Participation in an on‑call rota

What You’ll Do
* Maintain and repair plant and machinery to ensure service delivery.
* Oversee work of contract and service engineers.
* Perform weekly tests on sterilisers/washers in line with CfPP standards.
* Report machine cycle changes to the National Maintenance Manager.
* Ensure machinery is serviced before quarterly/annual validation.
* Schedule yearly validation of plant equipment.
* Ensure compliance with Medical Devices Directive (MDD).
* Maintain validation/calibration certifications for MDD registration.
* Manage spare parts and tools inventory.
* Carry out scheduled PPM maintenance and inspections.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and staff development.
* Support the performance management system.
* Travel to other sites as required.
What We’re Looking For
* Apprentice‑trained engineer or equivalent.
* Minimum 2 years’ engineering experience in Facilities or Manufacturing.
* Mechanical or electrical qualification.
* Full UK driving licence (max 3 points).
