My client based in Avonmouth are looking for a motivated Accounts Assistant to join their Finance team. As the Accounts Assistant you’ll report into the Financial Controller and ensure their accounts are kept up to date on a day to day basis. This is a new position following a restructure within the department and would suit someone junior in Finance looking to join a company where they can be developed and have the opportunity to grow. Key Tasks: * Sales & Purchase Ledger * Balance sheet reconciliation * Dealing with customers and suppliers * Banking * General office administration The ideal candidate will have had previous Accountants experience, be confident in the Microsoft Office packages, in particular Word and Excel and ideally be studying for their AAT. You’ll be a confident communicator able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure. Excellent customer service is essential.
