Our client is a highly respected City law firm, recognised for its exceptional expertise across competition, asset management, M&A, and dispute resolution. The firm advises leading corporates, financial institutions, and asset managers on complex, high-value UK and international matters.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a Competition Associate (2-5 PQE) to join a top-tier London competition practice. You will work closely with highly regarded partners on a wide range of UK, EU, and international competition matters, including transactional, advisory, and contentious work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advising on UK and EU merger control and managing multi-jurisdictional filings.
* Advising on the UK National Security & Investment Act and foreign direct investment regimes.
* Supporting corporate teams on competition and merger control issues in M&A transactions.
* Acting for clients in cartel and antitrust investigations, enforcement actions, and competition litigation.
* Advising on anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominance, subsidy control, and key regulatory developments including the Digital Markets Act and UK DMCC Act.
