Hours: 9 hours per week (days to be agreed)
Salary: M1 pt 34 – £43,693 plus £1,013 fringe allowance

As the School Counsellor, you will play a vital role in promoting positive mental health, delivering one-to-one counselling sessions, and working closely with staff, students, and families to foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. You will be part of the wider student support network, helping young people overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide confidential one-to-one counselling sessions for students
* Support the emotional wellbeing and mental health of young people
* Work collaboratively with staff, parents/carers, and external agencies where necessary
* Maintain accurate and confidential records
* Contribute to the school’s wellbeing initiatives and overall pastoral provision
