SPACE - St Andrews Hall, St Andrews Hall, Kilrymont Road, Saint Andrews, Fife, KY16 8DE Who We Are Space Student Accommodation is looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to support the Operations Manager in delivering an exceptional resident and guest experience, while ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the building. This is a hands-on role focused on operational excellence across both student living and summer short-term lets, with responsibility for duty management and maintaining high service standards. Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of the property
2. Act as Duty Manager, overseeing daily operations and service delivery
3. Deliver a consistently high-quality resident and guest experience
4. Drive standards across front of house, housekeeping, and maintenance coordination
5. Resolve queries and issues quickly, professionally, and with a customer-first approach
6. Support summer operations, including short-term lets and building turnaround
7. Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and safety compliance
8. Support and guide front line teams to deliver a service-led environment
About You
9. Experience in operations, hospitality, or student accommodation
10. Strong customer experience focus with high attention to detail
11. Confident managing day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment
12. Proactive, organised, and solutions-driven
13. Hands-on, approachable, and a strong team player
