National World is a national, regional and local multimedia organisation based in the UK. We provide news and information services to our communities through our portfolio of publications and websites. Specialising in the selling of multimedia solutions to small to medium sized companies.
We are currently looking for motivated, inquisitive and confident Account executives to join our existing team.
The role -
As an Account Executive you will be responsible for making outbound calls in order to acquire new business, retain active business and revive lapsed clients, presenting and selling multimedia solutions to SMEs within a defined geographical territory.
The candidate -
The successful candidate for the Account executive role must be a self-motivated and enthusiastic person who can be resilient and confident in making outbound calls, as well as someone who has an excellent telephone manner and experience in outbound sales. You should be well organised and have the ability to work on your own initiative without close supervision.
Key competencies -
* To achieve challenging productivity targets to meet internal KPI’s
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Ability to adapt Communication Style & Tone to reflect audience
Commercially aware with strong business acumen
Used to working within very fixed deadlines and under pressure
Experience of building immediate rapport to develop long term relationships
Intermediate computer skills, including mastery of functions such as navigating between multiple windows and sites, tracking and logging entries in a database
Familiar with working in a cold calling environment
Resilient, tenacious, result orientated, optimistic, driven and self motivated
The Benefits -
OTE £28.8k p.a.
* We offer a basic salary of £24,000 per annum, in addition to an attractive bonus structure.

Hybrid working - three days office based, two days home based.

37.5 hours per week
